Step Frame Trim for a Seamless Finish

Each of our door frames includes both exterior and interior step frame trim, which we custom measure to be wider than your existing wood trim molding. This smart design ensures that when your new Allied Iron door is installed, the step frame trim covers the areas where the old molding was removed—creating a clean, seamless finish that typically requires no additional finish work.

Precision Hardware & Superior Craftsmanship

Our Grand Entry Doors feature heavy-duty commercial roller latches, installed at the top and bottom of the door for added stability. Unlike surface-mounted hardware used by some manufacturers, our latches are mortised into the door shell, maintaining a flawless finish and superior security.

Every double entry door is equipped with two commercial-grade flush bolts that secure the inactive panel. These are also mortised into the frame for a smooth, integrated look.

We use a dual rubber sweep at the bottom of every door to ensure a tight seal against the threshold. During installation, our team carefully verifies that no light or air escapes, ensuring complete insulation and weather protection.

To secure the operable glass, commercial-grade casement latches are installed at two key points, pressing the glass snugly against the Q-Lon gasket for an airtight closure. When closed, the operable glass sits perfectly flush inside the door shell, giving a clean, cohesive look inside and out.
